The purpose of drafting this Strategic Cross-Sectoral Document for OSH is to establish a clear course of action for stakeholders, for the development and future orientation of health and safety at work in Albania. One of the goals is to increase the number of stakeholders actively involved in the promotion of OSH, and to strengthen their role in this effort. There is a common framework for cooperation, for the roles and duties of the Government itself, certain ministries, institutions, inspection bodies, social partners and other actors.
This OSH Cross-Sectoral Strategic Document is structured by a general vision for improving OSH and working conditions of employees in order to reduce occupational accidents and occupational diseases and to meet the rights of employees for decent work, comparable with other EU countries.
Practical Handbook on Risk Assessment at Work
This non-legally binding manual is designed to assist labour inspectors to understand the risk assessment procedure, its implementation and management, and to assist employers to meet their obligations as well as to assist specialists of OSH to carry out risk assessment at work and to adopt appropriate preventive and corrective measures in accordance with the Law on Occupational Safety and Health.
