Safety and health at work has to do with ensuring the safety and protection of the health of employees through the prevention of occupational hazards, the elimination of risk and accident factors, information, consultation, balanced participation as well as the training and formation of employees and representatives of employees in accordance with the relevant legislation.
Law no.10.237 dated 18.02.2010 “ON SAFETY AND HEALTH AT WORK”, has as its object the definition of measures aimed at guaranteeing the safety and health of employees. The purpose of this law is to ensure the safety and health protection through the prevention of occupational hazards, the elimination of risk and accident factors, information, counseling, balanced participation in accordance with the law, formation of employees and their representatives and to determine the general guidelines for the implementation of this goal.
