General Director of State Labour Inspectorate and Social Services, Mr. Arben Seferaj and the Commissioner for Protection from Discrimination Mr. Robert Gajda, signed today the Cooperation Agreement between two Institutions, to coordinate all actions in order to realize the protection of employees against discrimination at work.
This agreement will serve for institutionalization, between the parties to provide mutual assistance in facilitating the exchange of information, signaling discriminatory cases of cooperation between the two Institutions, in the framework of taking proactive measures from protection from discrimination in employment and the field of Social Services, and to promote the principle of equality.
The agreement provides for handling complaints with joint inspections in specific cases.
Cooperation will continue in terms of institutional capacity building through training of the inspection body, in relation to the issues of discrimination at work
